 Milenko was born in Yugoslavia and grew up in Belgrade (today Republic of Serbia). As a young man, he studied medicine for three years (Stomatoloski Fakultet, Beograd) until he began to associate with artists in Belgrade and discovered that he could no longer resist art as a career. He stopped medical school and took classes at Drawing School with Sergej Jovanovic’ in Belgrade.
